Scott Mugrage has spent his life in the cattle business. Starting with livestock at just 11 years old, his experience has taken him from family farming in the Midwest to large-scale cattle and feedlot operations before bringing his family and decades of experience to Alaska.
Today, Scott and his family operate an integrated cattle and crop operation in Delta Junction, producing finished beef and much of the feed that supports their cattle. He’s also a longtime advocate for Alaska agriculture, serving as President of the Alaska Farm Bureau and working to strengthen opportunities for farmers and ranchers across the state.

Nate Burris raises his cattle on 100% grass-fed diets, including Timothy hay and natural grasses, with a focus on producing wholesome beef right here in Alaska. The cattle are also processed on the ranch, keeping transportation and handling to a minimum.
